Dancing Out Of Lockdown

Strong Feet Dance Academy presents Dancing Out Of Lockdown.

On Sunday 3rd July the incredibly talented dancers and cheerleaders of Strong Feet will take to the stage for the first time in three years to astound and entertain their family and friends.

Since summer 2019 the Strong Feet students have been working their socks off, not only with learning their dance technique for exams, but honing their artistic and performance skills to bring you an amazing 2022 Showcase. They will pay homage to the songs that got us through lockdown with performances to the songs of Vera Lynn, M People and Spice Girls, to name just a few.

Strong Feet is led by the talented, and rather patient, Michelle Hughes, who gives hour after hour to nurture and teach the students not just dance but so much more. This will be a proud day for Miss Michelle, seeing her students back on stage doing what they love after a difficult few years.

Are you ready to Dance out of LOCKDOWN???

Annual Raffle

When we talk about the Strong Feet Family we really mean family. If Miss Michelle had a work wife it would be her right hand woman Georgi, she is just there and has been since (we think) 2015, through the good, the bad and the glittery. Many of you may not know but in the background getting dragged to shows, rehearsals, exams and even studio refurbs is Georgi's long suffering (and ever so grumpy) husband Neil. He is just as important a part of the Strong Feet family as all of you reading this.

Earlier this year their family was hit hard when his cousin was involved in a devastating mountain biking accident, breaking his C6 and C7 vertebrae, leading to spinal cord damage and paralysis. Will is a young, active man who is now in need of specialist treatment and home adaptations that just cannot be provided by the NHS, who are doing their very best to get him to a spinal cord unit, so the family are needing to raise in excess of £50k to support Will on his long road to recovery.

To do our bit to support Will, our charity raffle at the Strong Feet "Dancing out of Lockdown" showcase will be in aid of 'Will Power' - fundraising to get Will the treatment and support he needs at this difficult time.
