Having trained at the highly acclaimed Phil Winston's TheatreWorks in Blackpool, Michelle went on to perform as a dancer in various summer seasons and shows.

In 2000 Michelle was part of Simon Cowell's girl band "Girl Thing" and travelled the world performing to hundreds of thousands of people, achieving top-ten chart success in several countries. The band reunited again in 2014 as part of the ITV2 show “The Big Reunion”.

Following this success, Michelle became a television presenter on Nickelodeon UK. During this time she returned to college to complete her dance teacher qualifications and established her own dance academy in St. Annes, Lancashire.

After relocating to Alcester in 2014, Michelle founded Strong Feet Dance Academy in 2015 with two Saturday morning classes and around 12 students. Nine years later, the academy has grown to nearly 150 students with multiple weekly classes. Michelle is also mum to three boys who all dance and are frequent helpers around the studio.

At 18, Roz moved on to train at Phil Winston’s Theatreworks in Blackpool, gaining IDTA teaching qualifications. She performed in professional pantomimes and shows, including backing for Rod Stewart, Party in the Park in Birmingham, and appearing as an extra in European Ballet productions.

Roz is now a qualified cheer coach and loves every second! At home, she is mum to four children — all three girls share her passion for dance and cheer.

Sarah Morris

Sarah was a competitive gymnast before becoming an Artistic Gymnastics Club Coach. She taught artistic gymnastics for her Club, County, and the Welsh Development Squad, and also qualified as a gymnastics judge.

Her career later led her into training consultancy, delivering customer service, sales, and management training across the UK and Europe. She eventually returned to recreational gymnastics coaching in Stratford-upon-Avon, where she met Michelle.

When Michelle launched Strong Feet and decided to start a cheerleading team, she persuaded Sarah to join the coaching staff! Sarah re-qualified as a Level 1 & 2 cheerleading coach and is now the academy’s resident tumbling expert.

Sarah is a qualified first aider and has completed safeguarding training. Her daughters Lily and Poppy have been part of Strong Feet Cheer Academy since the beginning — and Lily is now also a certified Level 1 & 2 cheer coach.
